Submission Policy

PlannedGiving.com does not actively solicit guest blog submissions for Give & Take.

Editorial content is produced internally or by invitation and reflects our editorial standards, strategic priorities, and long-standing focus on planned giving education and practice.

What We Publish

When outside contributions are considered, they must demonstrate substantive expertise and original thinking in one or more of the following areas:

  • Planned giving strategy (practical or institutional)
  • Major and legacy giving insights
  • Donor psychology and decision-making
  • Stewardship and relationship building
  • Professional and leadership development in fundraising
  • Case-based observations drawn from real-world experience

Content must offer insight and perspective, not promotion.

What We Do Not Publish

We do not accept:

  • Promotional or sales-driven content
  • Link-building or SEO-motivated submissions
  • Generic or introductory fundraising advice
  • AI-generated content
  • Political or advocacy material
  • Articles focused primarily on vendors, tools, or services
  • Plagiarized or derivative work

Editorial Standards

All submissions are evaluated based on:

  • Strategic relevance
  • Depth of insight
  • Clarity and readability
  • SEO viability
  • Alignment with our audience of senior fundraisers and nonprofit decision-makers

We reserve the right to edit content for clarity, accuracy, structure, and search optimization—or to decline publication without explanation.

Publication Terms

  • Accepted guest contributions may require a publication fee, determined on a case-by-case basis
  • Published articles may include internal links and calls-to-action to PlannedGiving.com resources
