Brian M. Sagrestano, JD, CFRE (1969–2022), was a nationally respected leader in charitable gift planning. A graduate of Cornell University and Notre Dame Law School, he served as Director of Planned Giving at the University of Pennsylvania before founding Gift Planning Development, where he helped facilitate over $1 billion in charitable gifts. Co-author of The Philanthropic Planning Companion, Brian received the Skystone Partners Award and was honored by the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners. His legacy continues to influence the field.
